Matyas Kopecky joins the Rockets and reunites with brother Tomas

The Rockets are delighted to announce that Matyas Kopecky will join the team from the 2026 season onwards. The Czech talent makes the move from Team Novo Nordisk, where he has developed into a strong all-round rider known for his sprint and fast-finishing abilities.

With his transfer to the Rockets, Matyas will reunite with his older brother Tomas Kopecky, who has been part of the team since the start in 2023. It will be the first time in their professional careers that the two brothers race together in the same colours, something both have dreamed about for years.

“This is a special move for me,” says Matyas. “In recent years, I’ve raced against my brother a few times, which was already something unique. Now, to be on the same team and fight together for victories makes me even more motivated for next season.”

Matyas has signed a contract with the team through the end of 2027.
