A day to remember: Rockets Corner brings fans together at Amstel Gold Race

The Amstel Gold Race is always a special moment for Unibet Rose Rockets. Not only because of the race itself, but because thousands of fans come together to celebrate cycling. This year, the Rockets Corner once again turned the Limburg hills into a true purple celebration.

From early morning until the final riders passed through, fans gathered at the Geulhemmerberg to experience the race together. The Rockets Corner became a meeting point for supporters, families and cycling lovers, exactly what makes the Rockets community unique.

Racing in front of the home crowd

For the riders, the atmosphere provided an extra boost. Hearing the crowd and seeing the Rockets colours along the course gave the team extra motivation during one of the biggest races of the season.

Sportingly, the team delivered a strong performance. Abram Stockman represented the Rockets in the early breakaway, while Jelle Johannink, Lander Loockx and Adam Toupalik finished as the team’s best riders. Johannink crossed the line in 34th place, followed closely by Loockx in 35th and Toupalik in 48th.

More than just a race

The Amstel Gold Race once again showed what Unibet Rose Rockets stands for: racing hard on the road, while bringing fans closer to the sport.

The Rockets Corner was not just a place to watch the race.

It was a place where the Rockets community came together.
