Unibet Rose Rockets sign Irish National Champion Rory Townsend
The Unibet Rose Rockets are pleased to announce the signing of 30‑year‑old Irish national Champion, Rory Townsend, for the 2026 season. Townsend joins the team after two years with the Swiss ProTeam Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, bringing valuable experience and a proven pedigree in one‑day racing.
Townsend’s most notable victory came in August this year when he triumphed at the ADAC Cyclassics, edging out strong competitors such as Arnaud De Lie and Paul Magnier in a breakaway finish. He also secured the Irish national road‑race title for the second time this season, underlining his consistency and strength in single‑day formats.
