Lukas Kubis takes our first win of the season!

Lukas Kubis has won the Cholet Agglo Tour in France. Our Slovakian Champion was the strongest in a decisive breakaway of three riders. Behind him, Andreas Stokbro completed the party by winning the peloton sprint and securing fourth place.
It was a tough day for our riders. Rain turned the race into a real battle. After some big loops around Cholet, the riders faced multiple local laps through the city center, almost turning it into a crit race.
Those laps proved tricky, with several crashes on Cholet’s slippery roads. For us, that meant taking control and moving to the front. From that moment on, we stayed there, racing in full Rocket style.
With Abram, Sebastian, and Martijn controlling the bunch, the early break was reeled in. After that Jelle and Joren stepped up to make the race hard, setting things up perfectly. Lukas followed key moves, but had a scare when he crashed on the wet roads.
That didn’t stop him. He jumped back on his bike and, with help from his teammates, returned to the front. There, he attacked and broke away with two others. In a nail-biting finale, the trio held off the chasing peloton. Lukas finished it off with a powerful sprint, taking our first win of the season. Just behind, Andreas sprinted to fourth, proving the team’s strength on a challenging day.
